Local grape of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Verduzzo grapes have particularly high levels of tannin. While Verduzzo wines are never as tannic as even the softest reds, they are noticeably more astringent than other white wines.
Our Verduzzo is a passito wine made by drying the grape to near raisins after they are late harvested.
Color: deep gold.
Bouquet: intense aroma of nuts, raisin and honey.
Taste: rich and straightforward. Sweetness and freshness are well balanced making this wine round and long lasting.
Serving suggestions: perfect with cookies, aged cheese and foie gras.
